Khaadi launches a theme song on it’s 18 year anniversary ft. “All Girl Band”
Remember the song ‘Love Me Again’ by John Newman and covered by the emerging All Girl Band in Nescafe Basement 4? All thanks to Xulfi, the cover was the first step for this emerging band towards its success. The All Girl Band is back again with a theme song for Khaadi, Pakistan’s premium clothing & lifestyle brand.
On Khaadi’s 18th anniversary, the brand revealed the theme song titled, ‘Choo Liya Aasman’, produced and composed by Xulfi and sung by the All Girl Band. The song’s video is directed by Guddu and Shani, featuring a unique concept, where all the band girls are singing in the clothing factory, while a few workers can be seen busy doing their routine work. The motivational lyrics of the song are breaking many stereotypes.
It was a great and unprecedented initiative by Khaadi to fuse the art of fashion and music whilst promoting an emerging female band by featuring them in the theme song. Shamoon Sultan, CEO Khaadi shared his thoughts on the selection of the All Girl Band for this purpose. ‘After 18 years of success, it feels great to pass the mantle to young talent who have just begun their own journey’.
“Working on this song for Khaadi was an absolute pleasure. I’m very happy to have worked with Khaadi on this milestone moment of an incredible journey they embarked upon 18 years ago” commented Xulfi on the song. “The song interprets passion, enthusiasm, and positivity towards any challenge life tosses in our direction. It speaks to the soul by encouraging one to never abandon one’s dreams and goals” he further added.
After ‘Love Me Again’, this song is said to be another record-breaking hit for the band.
